Wedding Flowers: Course Content
The course includes four lessons. To submit your homework, you will take a photo of your flower arrangement and upload it to our online gallery for feedback.
Lesson 1: Planning and Logistics
-Creating a cohesive event through a mood board and planning.
-How to create flower recipes to coordinate with your mood board.
-How to source flowers.
-How to create a floral production timeline for an event.

Lesson 2: How to Make a Large Scale Arrangement and a Garland
-Learn how to make a large-scale flower arrangement.

Lesson 3: How to Make a Wild Organic Wedding Bouquet and a Modern Organic Centerpiece
-Learn how to make a wild, organic style bridal bouquet.
-Learn how to make a low centerpiece in an organic style.
-Create your own designs and upload them and receive feedback from Chelsea.
Boutonnières, Corsages, and Cake Flowers
-Learn how to create an all natural boutonnière.

With over twenty years experience as a florist and floral stylist, I pair my skills as a stylist and my training in classical floral design to create floral designs that feel effortless, fresh, and straight from the garden! What supplies do I need for the course?
If you want to complete the homework (we recommend doing the homework!), you will need a few supplies. Each lesson offers a full list of supplies. You will need:
Access to fresh flowers. Download our flower sourcing guide here.
A piece of rope and some wire.
A large urn or bucket.
A camera (can be phone) to take photos of your assignments to submit for homework.
