Learn how to grow flowers using minimal resources. Ferriss is paving the way for a new kind of flower farming, eschewing hoop houses and high energy growing for a a more earth-friendly approach.  Learn how to choose flowers that thrive in your climate, and learn how to grow flowers with compost and rainwater, using what you already have. 


September 17: 

Cuttings for Flower Arrangements


Learn how to create floral arrangements incorporating cuttings that will lengthen the life of your arrangement and eventually go back into the earth as a plant for usage in the garden or kitchen. You'll learn the best plants to use as cuttings and how to educate your customer or recipient around this concept.

Recipe and supply lists go out two weeks before class.

3 Day Kickstart Your Floristry Career

(mix of live and recorded)

Kickstart your flower studies with this intro 3 day online workshop and conference. You'll learn the next steps you need to take to get your floristry career started. Learn how to own your creativity, gain confidence in standard floral practices, how to work sustainably, and how you can procure work as a florist. This class is ideal for those who need to jumpstart their studies, or want to discover if floristry is the right career path. No previous experience necessary. Great for newbies and also for those already in flower school who need a reboot.

You can attend for the demos and classes or you can join us with your own local flowers to make the two arrangements we will be featuring.  This is a re-launch of our previous Intro to Floristry conference that was held last spring. This workshop will have a new live component that all previous students will have access to.

Replays are available if you cannot make the time and date. Career students enter free of charge.
